Charge 3 vibrating and screen flickering randomly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My charge 3 worked fine when I went to sleep but was off when I woke up. I thought it was dead and charged it. After that it still wouldnt work...just keep flickering like vibrating and switching btwn different screens very fast. I have tried to reset it- it does but it goes btwn the status I mentioned and a horizontal status bar across the screen. It's not that old- maybe less than a year old.

Hi @Juniper918, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the screen issues that your Charge 3 is experiencing. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  8. Try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

No this does not work. My fitbit was charged to 94% and then was showing
dead again just a few hours later. When I hold it down it's vibrating like
crazy and I did see he smiley face but I think the vibrations are the same
as what was happening earlier.

My charge 3 did the same thing this morning. It has been flashing and vibrating all day, I also tried to reset 4 times today. Got an email from Fitbit giving me a discount to buy a new fitbit. I just want mine to work. My Fitbit is 2 years old so no warranty, wasn't looking for a new one just wondered what happened.

My fitbit is just over one year old and if I have to buy a new one I'll
likely look at different brands like Samsung or Garmin. These are too
expensive to replace annually. It's still not working and is definitely
broken but Fitbit hasnt replied to my message yet.
Last time I bought one I bought the geek squad protection on it from
BestBuy and they no longer offer it on Fitbit purchases.
