Charge 3 white lines on display

I have been having issues for a couple of months. There will be times when the screen would be black for hours and would not turn on however it would still vibrate. As of last night my screen now has white streaks on it and I'm unable to use any of the features do to the touch screen not responding. It does not respond to a factory reset either. I called customer service this morning who said that it's outside of the warranty due to my device being only 1.5 years old. The best they could do is offer me a percentage off of a new device. I challenged them and ask why would I pay $200 for one of your devices when a top-of-the-line smartwatch is only $200 at this time. I am frustrated because I am on my second Fitbit and have been a long time user and feel as though there is no customer loyalty for replacements in a situation where this issue seems to be coming up more frequently with other Fitbit users. Thank you.

@PTtotheBone Welcome to the Community.

Let me help you with your Charge 3 showing white lines on its display and thank you for reaching out to our Support team for assistance. Support does follow the guidelines described in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.

Let me know how it goes.

Seeing as this seems to be a larger issue with your uses rather than just my device, it would seem appropriate to be more accommodating. For the reasons that you are not willing to accommodate to those who are having this issue other than to buy a new one, I will not be purchasing your devices in the future. Your devices are too expensive to have to replace every year. It is a shame you are losing a longtime costumer of your products.
