Charge 3 with 001 Error

I haven’t used my Charge 3 for some time. Having charged it back up it is stuck on 001 screen. From reading other posts I tried holding the button on the Fitbit for 15 seconds while it was plugged in charging but the error remains. I also tried when it was not plugged in. Can you please advise? Thank you.
