My Charge 3 won't connect to the app anymore and sync the data. It has also stopped charging. It's now completely dead with a black screen but no matter what I do it won't charge. I've noticed this is a common topic with this brand.

I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums. The syncing issue may be caused due to the charging problem.
Please let me know if your Charge 3 vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your tracker for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
Regarding the syncing issue, please try the steps included in this help page.
Finally, monitor your tracker and see if the charging and syncing issues get fixed.
