Charge 3 won’t pair or sync with iOS devices

I have tried all the tricks of turning off, turning back on Bluetooth on iPhone, putting Charge 3 in the charger and holding the side button until the 🙂 appears, holding my mouth sideways, etc. Nothing is working. It seems to have started after the latest software update on my iPhone. Is anyone else having problems?

I hope they do something soon to fix it!!

So basically Fitbit help is no help on this? Really aggravating 😡

Mine isn’t working either. I had an old phone that will update but it hasn’t affected my newer phone nor my iPad! Just won’t sync, won’t pair, hasn’t caught up from about 6pm last night BST

You really would think that fit bit could at least post something on their site to indicated that they’re aware of the issue!

I didn’t update yesterday either so it must have been an auto update. I just want fit bit to deal with it and find a solution

I removed my charge 3 entirely in an attempt to fix the problem and I’ve tried everything but my iPhone can’t find it so it won’t load at all. 😔

Just been chatting on line they do not seem to be able to suggest anything except rebooting restarting etc.. I think it’s a compatibility problem between Fitbit and Apple and they just do t know how to fix it

I have just had a live chat session and it has been determined that my syncing problem can’t be fixed so I am able to get a replacement. Im very happy with this outcome.

So I deleted the device from Bluetooth and the app and then reinstalled them, it took some time but it did work.  This was done on the advice of person on this thread.  The draw back is it does have to be done daily so the user thinks.. working now but will have to wait and see what happens again tomorrow.  Thanks to everyone for your support and help

I’ve had the same problem, neither my Charge 3 or Charge 2 would sync today with iPhone and iPad but Aria scale does. Definitely seems to be since iOS 13.4.1 upgrade but I’ve had problems with Charge 3 pairing for months. Tried all the troubleshooting tips, finally got a sync on my iMac after switching off all my Apple devices, then logging back in but still won’t sync on iPhone and iPad ☹️

I copied what one of the other users said and deleted the app and my charge 3 from Bluetooth. I then replaced the app, logged in, it asked if I wanted to pair and have been able to sync with my iPad

My charge 3 won’t pair with iPad or iPhone 6 since the latest update to iOS yesterday. Obviously a connection since so many are having the same problem. What can be done?

Best Answer
It won't probably but I had an old iPhone 6 which won't update any more and my Fitbit app worked on that

Many thanks NicksOldGal, your recommendation worked perfectly on my iPhone but no joy doing the same with my iPad which after deleting Fitbit’s from Bluetooth and Fitbit app and then reinstalling Fitbit app still says it can’t find my Charge 3.

At least I’ve now got one mobile device that will work as it should (for now) 🙄

Cheers
