I have tried all the tricks of turning off, turning back on Bluetooth on iPhone, putting Charge 3 in the charger and holding the side button until the 🙂 appears, holding my mouth sideways, etc. Nothing is working. It seems to have started after the latest software update on my iPhone. Is anyone else having problems?
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity
They have informed it’s the iOS 13.5
Apple it has made the Fitbit app obsolete.
they state uninstall and reinstall that might help. No chance Fitbit has to create or modify Fitbit app to iOS 13.5
in same position.
the workaround is set up Fitbit charge through android phone and then all data seems to work through Apple iOS 13.5
Mmmm go to Apple store ask if they are sales or tech then they will say the app is not apple so Fitbit has to adapt its app to work with iOS 13.5
but once you setup your charge 3 through android phone it works fine with Apple app.
Best AnswerI finally got mine to work after much frustration. I uninstalled Fitbit completely then reinstalled watch & app. It’s working now better than ever. Hope this helps.
Best AnswerSet up using android phone then sync with Apple app
use a friends then delete app from thier phone.
i di this and the apple app still collects the data.
good luck to you all
Best AnswerI just purchased a Charge 3. Was using a Charge HR. Cannot access the clock face and Apps on my I phone. Every thing else is fine.
Best AnswerHi. I had the same problem when I updated my software to 13.4.1 I notice there's a note from Fitbit on the top of the Community page to uninstall and reinstall the app. You can google how to do this if necessary.
I have a Charge 3 and had an online chat that resolved part of the problem, but it took days to fix both my iPhone and iPad. You can go to Bluetooth in settings and hit 'forget this device.' It may resync. You can also plug in the charger to your Fitbit, hold the button down for 8 seconds, and you should see a smiling face. That is supposed to help it resync. Honestly, I spent hours over a period of four days before I intuitively fixed both my devices. It is NOT Apple's problem. Good luck!
Best AnswerAt what point should we expect Fitbit to resolve this issue? It has been an issue for more than two weeks, and we are still being told to be patient. I am losing my patience because Fitbit is not showing any urgency in fixing this problem.
Best AnswerI guess I am lucky. It at least syncs with my iPhone 11 on iOS 13.5. However, there was no problem until last Friday when I upgraded to 13.5 and also upgraded to Fitbit premium. Now when I exercise the Fitbit stops syncing to the phone unless I stay on the Fitbit app screen and do not let it go to sleep. There is no changing to another app or using the phone without the sync getting lost. I can make it work while walking but it wouldn’t be a choice biking or running. Is anybody having this version of the problem?

Best AnswerThanks! I already tried all their suggestions, but it still does not pair with the phone. I'm going to try the Android workaround and see iff it works.
Best AnswerYou are lucky! 🙂 I tried it but did not work. I just hope Fitbit is going to do better at solving this problem. From what I see there are many issues related to iOS 15.3 & Charge 3.
