Hello,
This is for my wife's charge 3. Mine works fine. I have read relevant posts and tried several times to wake it up without success. I have done it before too. Now, I actually get various results but am never able to connect her phone, a Samsung Galaxy S10 sw up to date.
On an unrelated issue, my ATT had my wife reset the bluetooth so the Charge 3 is already "forgotten".
After power restart, I get the horizontal line but after redocking no display comes up. If I press the button while still docked sometimes I get a display that looks like a QR code, is just pixels on a white background. I tried to change the clock face, but the phone will not pair with the fitbit.
I tried the pairing instructions, but when I go into Notifications, I don't get the pop-up to pair the phone.
The app says last synched on 10/11 and that it needs a SW update. I tried to update the SW but it also can't detect the device.
After power reset, I do see it listed in the phone's bluetooth settings menu, but going back to the app it still won't connect.
I should mention I've been trying to reset this multiple times over the last few days. One time I actually got the display to briefly show, but it went dark again. Two times I got a happy face, but never anything else. Sometimes, after reboot is is just dark but when I press the button it vibrates until I let go.
Can you help my sick friend? my wife wants to count her steps!
thanks

Let's try one issue at a time.
"This is for my wife's charge 3. Mine works fine. I have read relevant posts and tried several times to wake it up without success. I have done it before too. Now, I actually get various results but am never able to connect her phone, a Samsung Galaxy S10 sw up to date."
I don't know what you mean by 'waking it up'. Some people say that when the display won't come on. But then you talk about connecting it to her phone, which seems a totally different issue, perhaps as if setting it up for first time.
Can you clarify what you mean by 'waking it up' and 'connecting her phone'?
