My charger 3 won't stop vibrating and flashing Wake Screen Notification. Did this for an hour yesterday and woke me up again this morning.

I have the exact same issue, I cannot even turn it on now, it won't stop flashing and vibrating. I tried the troubleshooting steps and it didn't work. Really frustrated as I bought it less than 2 months ago and it's an expensive activity tracker...

My charge 3 also won't stop vibrating and flashing Wake Screen Notification. I have tried both of these options as previously suggested, however the flashing and vibrating is continuing to persist, meaning i cannot wear my fitbit.

My Charge 3 finally stopped vibrating after multiple restarts and uninstalling and reinstalling app on Pixel 2...desperate. Now it just blinks on and off, slowly, without a flick of the wrist, When I do an eight second restart, nothing happens, no progress bar or smiley face. When I do a 15 second restart, I get a black screen and it stops blinking, for a period of time, then the blinking starts up again. And the battery is draining at a rapid pace.

Hi
Like others I have tried all suggested tips, my Fitbit has not synced since Sunday and have now tried to run it out of battery, which doesn't take long since it keeps blinking and vibrating - Everytime I get it to self die and charge it just starts doing the same thing, until it dies again 👎 very frustrated! I got my charge 3 for Christmas 2018 so no warranty...what else can you do to help?
Thank you
Cia

I'm having the same issue. I put on the charge, got the smiley face, then back to flashing and vibrating. And it wasn't stable enough to get to the settings to reboot. Very frustrating! Alan

My charge 3 is also wildly vibrating and switching screens. 1st sign of trouble was incomplete sleep tracking last night and not tracking heart rate. I knew I slept better than what the device was reflecting. I’ve rebooted 2X and also restarted with cable attached. Nothing is working. It’s like my Fitbit is having seizures

I’ve tried all recommended troubleshooting actions multiple times. Nothing is working.

My FitBit Charge 3 is still unusable. I tried removing the pair from the app and re-pair... it won’t repair and displays an “X” on the FitBit device and the app says there is a communication error. This device has been subjected to normal use on my wrist. It continues the vibrating and flashing through various screens. This is the 2nd charge3 that has malfunctioned in the span of 1 year. Now I’m regretting not spending more for the Apple Watch... I’m 0 for 2 on this $150 device that I’ve spent hours trying to trouble shoot when the main reason for the purchase was tracking activity....

Me too, I have now had it completely die on its own 4 times, rebooted it with 30 secs multiple times and it just won't do it 👎

It will not let me shut it off. It continues to flash through all the different screens and vibrating. It will not sync and changing the clock face did not work.

Didn't work for my Charge 3. It still vibrates and changes screen when charging. Would not restart. Time for the rubbish bin maybe ?

I have done the restarting process several times. And to no avail. It woke me again this morning. I can no longer see anything on the screen. According to the app, it still has a 82% charge, but nothing is recording. I have had this watch for 1 year and 1 day. The previous one lasted only 4 months. This is unacceptable. This seems to be a common issue, but it has not been resolved. What is the problem with the Fitbit Charge 3?

Well, I’ve given up on getting a satisfactory resolution. After many emails going back and forth between Fitbit support, even sending a brief video showing my charge3 behavior, I’m done, I’ve bought my last FitBit product.. after buying a total of 4 for myself and family members. My first charge 3 stopped working in less than 7 months, I was given a warranty replacement and that replacement stopped working within 7 months with different issues. It would be easy to assume I was putting the devices to rough use, but that isn’t the case. I loved the features, but the product just isn’t reliable... for me. I was told by FitBit they wouldn’t replace this 2nd device as the 1 year warranty on the original device expired, but I was offered a 25% discount for a replacement. I can’t do it, I’m not willing after being “bitten” twice. I will seek an alternative device from a completely different mfr. I wish everyone well with their devices. My husband’s device has now started experiencing some “hiccups” too. I may pursue recourse via an extended warranty dispute process through Visa credit card. I’m not willing to part with hard earned money for a device that reliably fails....
