Charge 3 won't swipe

I can not scroll to any other screen. It is just showing the time screen. I’ve tried numerous times to reset it to no avail. What other options are there? Thank you

It's great to welcome you @Jover24.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this swipe issue by yourself. Please confirm these are the steps you followed in order to restart your device:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    • Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

Funny story... after trying to reboot it a few times with no luck, he left it alone for awhile. Then went back to it after a few hours and it worked. 😉 I guess it just needed some time.

Thanks for the update @Jover24 and @Takariina welcome to the Forums.

@Jover24, it's great to hear that your tracker is now working properly. If there is anything else we can help you with, do not hesitate to post it.

@Takariina, have you tried performing a long restart:

  • Plug the device into the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable.
  • Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  • The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

Keep me posted. Robot Happy

Thanks @Jover24 for your comment! Maybe I need to just leave a while and
see if it helps 😉

@AlejandraFitbit, I have tried to restart in different ways, 8 sec, 10-12
sec. and 15 sec. Screen goes black when I´m doing the 15 sec. restart and
don´t show anykind of icons on the screen. I think the restart don´t work.
I have also tried to change clock face but it doesn´t help either.
After trying these different restarts, Fitbit hasen´t track my sleep last
night. Before this, every other things has worked not the swiping or tap.

So what might be the next move on this or should I go to the store and
change the unit?

I always forget to be plugged into the charger and computer when I try to reset.  And when I do those things and hold the button for 8 seconds, it resets.  Smiley Face.

Glad this question is still here.  I can come back to it, see the response, do the steps. And Voila!! Smiley Face pops up.  And swipe works.  Thank you AlejandraFitbit.
