I have a charge 3 which I love, but am going to have to get away from fitbit. I have searched several forums. I have turned my phone on and off, turned Bluetooth on and off, removed my charge 3 from my Bluetooth list. Put my charge 3 on the charger and pressed the button until I received the smiley face - about half a dozen times.
Still cannot connect to Bluetooth - cannot even find it when the fitbit is right next to the phone on my desk. I am disillusioned and tired of it. This is about my 4th fitbit, and normally when I have these issues I just buy a better one. But I really liked the charge 3. Now it is ready for the trash bin because I should not have to spend a couple hours to get it connected. I may have to go with apple watch. Here is my last plea for help. No advice in other discussion threads has helped. Maybe I will get help here. Last chance fitbit.

I'm with you on this one. I upgraded from Huawei P20 to P30 pro a week or so ago, and have been having problems ever since.
P30 is on the list of compatible devices, but it stops syncing at least every other day, notifications aren't coming through anymore and the only solution that works is deleting / reinstalling the app and setting it up again.
I didn't sign up for this, I can't be constantly checking to see if the device is still connected, I don't want to go through the trouble of uninstalling / reinstalling the app every 1 to 2 days. I bought the Charge 3 right after it was released, went through sooo many hiccups due to the fact that it was sold waaay prematurely, but now I'm done. I just want something that works and doesn't ask for my constant attention.

Welcome to the Forums, @eldee.
I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this syncing issue. I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and make sure you have followed the instructions provided there.
Let me know the outcome.

It did not work. I posted this earlier today but now it’s gone. That is the same information I found on my own and have spent waaayyyy too much time doing that over and over. I am done. This is ridiculous.

I have all of these problems too, cannot remember if it coincided with the last update. Whatever Fitbit did needs to be fixed by them. It is not right having to buy a new one when the fault lays with them. They are not cheap! Please Fitbit get these problems solved, there are many unhappy Fitbit owners, including me.

Been going through every step since the 25th September. Pointing us to the article is not solving the problem. Like so many others, I am getting very fed up. They are not cheap and I cannot replace because something happened around the last update. Please fix this problem.

I had the exact same issue. My Charge 3 stopped syncing on Sept. 23rd, and despite trying every single advice on all possible and impossible forums for at least twice, my Fitbit was completely useless even as a normal watch, as the syncing issues messed up the clock. I was super annoyed until I decided to try the Windows app on my laptop instead of connecting to my phone, and miraculously that worked! I would much prefer to use the app on my phone, but as this issue seems to be OS related, I'll be fine using my laptop whilst it gets fixed. Hope this helps at least someone.

I'm as frustrated as you too. Since updating my fitbit, my data is not sinking for steps or sleep. Ive tried so many times to put it right by following the instructions but still doesn't work. So annoying as it used to work perfect with my P30 lite. I'm saying perfect, but thats not entirely true as I've never been able to receive notifications for longer than a few hours after re setting and then they disappear but at least I was able to track my fitness and sleep.
Come on FITBIT sort something out for all us disgruntled customers. These devices are certainly not fit for purpose until you do !
