I would have considered doing this, but I have yet to hear back on the reliability of the Charge 4. I mean, if I remember correctly, I was having similar issues with the Charge 2. So, if I had pairing issues with the Charge 2, and I'm having much worse pairing/syncing issues with the Charge 3 SE, who's to say I won't have just as many problems with the Charge 4?!
I really liked the Charge series for the heart-rate monitoring, and the sleep-tracking. But I haven't been able to get my Charge 3 SE to sync (aside from steps) since November 12th!

Best AnswerI have an iPhone 6, yep ancient, and I had Charge3 sync issues today for the first time in a long time, though I hadn't tried to see if it was syncing for a few weeks. After one of the updates I guess it had stopped. While I tried all of the usuals, but, the only thing that finally worked was to :
1. Forget device in Bluetooth.
2. Reboot iPhone - all the while leaving the FitBit plugged into its cradle into the USB port of my macbook Air.
3. After the phone booted back up I went into the Fitbit app and although it looked like it was syncing it wasn't. And, bluetooth on the phone said it was connected. However, it wasn't.
4. Went into my Account on the FitBit app (for me it is upper left corner - the face thingie - and somewhere on that account page I found a place where it said to pair the FitBit - or perhaps the FitBit app told me to, sorry cannot remember.
As soon as I re-paired Fitbit and iPhone via the FitBit Account in the FitBit app, it synced within seconds. I did NOT have to reboot the fitbit device or reset it - only had to repair. Next time I'll just try that first without any reboots of anything and see.
Good luck. When it works, its great. I've had it since it came out.
Best AnswerIf I do this, does this mean I will lose all my data? I’ve only had this thing for 7-8 months, for crying out loud!
