I've had a Fitbit for a few years now, I've had the Charge 3 for over a year. I can not get it to sync or connect to the app no matter what info I follow to do it. I have a Samsung s8 and have never had problems with it and connecting/syncing before.
Now the watch is useless for many things when you can't sync it. I'm about ready to give in and go to one of the competitors fitness watches!

That's sad. Have you contacted fitbit support?
Perhaps you can also try to sync it with other phones or PC to make sure the issue isn't on your Charge 3.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this syncing issue. If your Charge 3 isn't syncing, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.
