Hi everyone. This seems like a similar problem to others. BUT the fixes I have found do not work. The fitbit4 is working fine, recording steps etc and connecting to the app etc. I have changed the clock face and got a nice buzz on my wrist when the app said it was done... but the screen has remained black/black. Tried all the reset things.. lots of vibrations but nothing to see.. Any ideas??

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you.The same thing happened to me a few months ago it's still sitting on my dresser working but unfortunately it's useless to me. If you disconnected from your account you won't be able to connect again because you'll need to see the number in order to set it up and the screen is blank. If you're within warranty they should offer you a 50% coupon off another device or a replacement, which will probably be a refurbished one with either the same issue or another issue. Unfortunately the quality of the fitbits has gone down. Good luck

Hi crazygamer53. That’s exactly what they did. So I took a 50% off a Versa3…. So far so good….

They only offered me a 35% discount. So unhappy with the way this was handled. Obviously there is something wrong with the model that we all suddenly have dead devices all of the sudden they should replace with the next model but they’re not admitting to the flaw and having us pay for a new one.

I'm so glad that versa 3 is working out. I've been keeping track of the forums (before I purchase another one) to see what problems the different devices are having. The versa 3 seems like the best so far, does it track floors & have an altimeter? I am very leery of losing more money so I've been using my old charge 3 and a used charge 4. I'm glad I saved my email where they admitted to me that it was a problem...lol I hope you and versa 3 have a long and happy acquaintance.

I know where you're coming from, the same happened to me. Your warranty must have expired and that's why you were only offered to 35%. The 35% is only off a full priced item so keep checking around I know Kohl's has them on sale occasionally and even though you can't use their coupons you do earn Kohl's cash to use on another purchase. Good luck
