Charge 4 Crashing When Using Fitbit Pay

Have had my Charge 4 for about a year now and suddenly over the past month or so it has started to randomly crash at low battery, anything under about 25% and when I try to use Fitbit pay. Very awkward!   I’m getting the notifications that it is at low battery and within approx 2 hrs it will crash. When this happens I have had to reset it each time. How can I fix this issue?
