Charge 4 Doesn't Sync

I am at the stage of declaring Fitbit as complete **ahem**!

This is my 4th device in as many years - lifespan is about 12 months before the screen fails - and retailers are very quick to simply replace as this is a KNOWN issue. However I have persevered with FitBit as I do like the app but in the past 6 months my FitBit watch has almost daily failed to sync with the app.

I follow all of the steps, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app from all devices, restarted the watch, unpaired and re-paired and still this continues to occur.

Most times I do get the watch syncing with my phone after multiple attempts at pairing but for the last 3 days have been completely unsuccessful. And when I login to the app itsellf I find that the last sync was 13 Nov

Hi there @KDKemp. Welcome to Community Forums.

I appreciate you shared your experience and the troubleshooting steps performed. I'd recommend you check you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device.

You can follow these steps to restart your device.

Some users find it useful to unpair and forget the device in your mobile device's bluetooth settings and then pair it again, to refresh the performance.

Also you can check this article, Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.

I’m in exactly the same boat as @KDKemp I’ve done everything they’ve done and everything suggested by yourselves yet still no joy. Mine actually says last sync was 30th November! So what now, apart from throw it in the bin?

Ditto!! I was off FitBit for about 2 months. When I put my Fitbit (charge 4) on and hit the app on my iPhone (iPhone 12) it asked me to log on (never did that before) did it and the “main icon” was calories and not steps. My Fitbit is also not syncing with my app. I’ve been on 2 separate chats and they tell me the same thing; turn off Bluetooth; delete app; add it back in. I’ve done everything over and over but it’s not working. Been a member since 2015 this has never happened

Hey LucioFitbit I think this issue with Charge 4 syncing could be solved by the Fitbit devs and included in next patch. Could you give a word in? You’ve got a lot of unhappy customers. Myself included.

Appreciate the response @LucioFitbit @@@@ I have done ALL of those steps multiple times in the past 4 weeks and still my FitBit app only shows Calories and last synced Nov. Looks like I'm not alone in my issue so fix the problem please
