Hi,
I’ve got a notification in Fitbit app on iPhone that Google Wallet is available for my device. As I had to reconnect my device again anyway, I decided to migrate by the way. Unfortunately it’s a one way process without going back to Fitbit Pay.
I’ve signed into my Google account and all the time I get the message that something went wrong, try later
Device was erased to default and removed from the app but that didn’t matter. How do I get back to Fitbit Pay or make it through to Google wallet ?
I can’t pay with my device anymore.
Why would I get notification to migrate to Google Wallet on iPhone ?

Is your Charge 4 still on the current standard version (48.20001.100.76)? I can't imagine them doing the switch to Google Pay without some sort of firmware update.

Yes, it’s still on that firmware, there is no new one. It might be a reason I didn’t migrate to Google account. Although Google Wallet and Google account for me are and should be two different things and I shouldn’t be forced to pass fully my data to Google to just get access to Google wallet. I’d have stayed with Fitbit pay. That’d be just unfair but I had some troubles already with adding some of my cards back to Fitbit Pay I had before in my Fitbit wallet so I decided to give a go for Google wallet when the notification shown up. Apparently something already was wrong with the Fitbit wallet and having that notification in the app was kind of coincidence saying it stopped working because Google got to Fitbit. It is still weird though to kind of use Google wallet on an iPhone. Looks a bit like someone in Google and/or Fitbit tried to skip iPhone users with Fitbit as irrelevant when taking over Fitbit or tried to force to move them to android by the way, to be able to use Google wallet.
The case was raised to both Fitbit and Google support, will see if there will be any answer. Fitbit support voided of course as it’s Google wallet not accepting it’s still Fitbit app that got me that suggestion.
