My fitbit has not synced since april 7.  I had been having trouble and was asked if I wanted uncouple and recouple.  This happened a couple of times then it did not work.  I can't find blue tooth on the computer and it no longer tries to sync. My fitbit app says is not paired with  any device.  What should I do?

I use a computer, not a mobile device. One time when I was charging it, a
question popped up asking if I would like to pair the device with windows.
I said yes, bingo, it worked!

Thanks for your help.

@rcofdayton , Nice to see you around. Thank you for your message and information.

For better results please make sure that no other bluetooth device is near or connected to your cell phone.

Please follow these steps, some of which you have already done, but the order is important:

  • Reboot your Charge 4.How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  • Please on mobile device, go to Settings>Bluetooth, and remove all connections that exist with the tracker. (Forget, ignore or unpair device depending on the phone OS version)
  • Turn off Bluetooth and restart your phone. (switch off and on again).
  • When the phone is back on, turn on the Bluetooth again, but DO NOT attempt to connect to the tracker from here.
  • Go on the app. From here, try setting up the tracker as a new device.

See you around,

I use my Fitbit app on my Windows desktop on my Charge 3 but when I had to upgrade to a Charge 4 I was told by Fitbit that no new Fitbit hardware is compatible for Windows machines of any sort. So the Aria Air scales and the new Charge 4 I've purchased will not work on the desktop or Windows phone. Perhaps you could make this clear to existing users BEFORE they spend a lot of money with you ?

Nothing to do with Google owning Fitbit now is it ?
