I'm using a charge 4 with Android. On a regular basis I receive a notification"checking for new messages". How do I stop this.

I do want to receive messages.

Hi there @Ggrsa. Welcome to Community Forums.

Thank you for this information. I'd recommend you check you have the latest Fitbit Firmware and OS of your mobile device, then restart your device by following these instructions.
