I think it's a true injustice to my wallet, time and investment that I have to throw away a perfectly well usable tracker simply because the clasp on my Charge 4 is broken and missing the clasp on one side to keep the band on. Total waste of an expensive product, right down the drain.
Bright Idea: Make the bands permanent so the tracker remains intact and works! There's no need for anyone to need to remove their bands. This is not a Michelle Watch or other. It gets wet and is used daily and in sleep. Keep it all together as one cohesive piece so this doesn't continue to happen! It's absurd.

Hi @guajard a few on the forums with the same issue have purchased from Amazon a protective cover band. It takes the pebble portion of the Charge 4 and places it in a band which encompasses it. Might be worth checking into.

@guajard , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your feedback regarding the interchangeable bands.
The Charge 4 is one of the evolutions of our Charge serie. After receiving the Feedback from our users regarding the permanent bands on the Charge, and Charge HR, trackers with the option to personalize them through different band options were developed.
Your feedback is important to us to help us improve our services and products.

I utilized Amazon as a hopeful remedy for a new band, but it did not include the nob I needed, thus it was returned. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Personalization is a great feature, but not if it takes away from the functionality of the product. I'd rather have a well-built, working tracker than the option to change its fashion. You should offer both options and see what happens. There's too many pieces that get broken and go missing when you allow for personalization. I want something comprehensive and will last me for years to come when I'm dishing out +$100 for a product. All my Chargers from 5 years of being a part of the Fitbit community, have lost their ability for use because the bands were and remain not made well.

@guajard the band isn't a conventional band that uses the connectors. It's a special band which completely covers the pebble portion, so those connectors aren't needed, which makes it perfect in your situation. Check it out on Amazon "protective covering band for Charge 4"
