Hello, I have just purchased a Charge 4. I was configuring ans pairing it with smartphone app. I was in the "app" section in Fitbit Android app, and tried to install SpO2, but "install" button is grayed out, and I get a red warning that the Android app and firmware of device must be updated to latest version before installing this app on it.
Now, my Android app is for sure up to date, whereas the firmware my charge 4 came with is the 20001.96.29.
What am I missing to be able to install SpO2 on my charge4?

It sure seems like Fitbit should be able to process the data into a periodic SPO2 chart. The device is CLEARY recording the values. The question is why. Is the data not accurate enough to be displayed? Are the needs of people with Apnea not going to be Fitbit customers? Have found another product that that records periodically, but its a finger loop... not a wrist loop. Doesn't seem like any Fitbit devices do?
Best AnswerHi, Kate. When can we expect this feature to be enabled on Charge 4? Why isn't it available if it's a feature?
Best AnswerHi MLZNH
Sadly the SPO2 app only works when your asleep and after 3 nights of date.
I can’t help on the Premium question, but I’m interested in the answer

Best AnswerAbsolutely. These devices capture life metrics. Why are they dumbed down? Am looking for oxygen level degradation over days, not minutes. Insidious covid disease. Should i be able or ( allowed to) see my own health data?
