I've had a Charge 4 that I've loved for activity and heart rate tracking during workouts of various types. I had it linked with the United Healthcare Motion program, which was great until my insurance changed and I lost access to the program. I've already revoked data sharing access, and my UHC account is no longer in existence (switched providers), and I've tried every setting I can find to remove the program from the Charge 4 itself. I still get frequency/intensity notifications throughout the day on my wrist. It still tracks and continues to function as if there is a reason to have it. The vibrations and interruptions to the screen that the Motion app causes during workouts are annoying, to say the least. Is there some way to get the app off the Charge 4? If not, why would there be an app available that is unable to be removed? I'd prefer to not make a new account with a new email. Thanks in advance for the help.

From past posts, My understanding is that the UHC version is specifically made and offered through the UHC insurance and that this app can not be removed.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @windelov. Thank you for sharing your inquiry regarding UHC notifications.
To remove the UHC program from your Charge 4 try a factory reset. This will all the information saved on your device:
On your device, open the Settings app > About > Clear User Data.

Is there any other option? I've been trying various ways to remove UHC Motion from my Fitbit account for almost a year now trying to avoid a factory reset or creating a new account. I'm assuming that a factory reset would also delete all of my logged data along with the app and that data could not be recovered, right? That's a high price to uninstall an app, especially for long time users.

Thanks for getting back to us and for your question @siegmann. Your data will remain in your account what will be removed will be all the apps you installed on your watch but your information is saved on the Fitbit servers so you won´t lose it.

Just tried this. Clearing data from the Charge 4 device didn't uninstall the UHC Motion app. Prior to this I logged into the third party apps section of my account and revoked access.

Good afternoon! I too just followed your instruction and UHC Motion remains on my Charge 4. UHC shows when I swipe left on the watch face. It's the first app that shows above Exercise. Thank you!

I am in the same boat. I couldn't remove UHC from my charge 2, so I gave up after revoking access. I put my charge 4 on and found that UHC was on that as well. UHC only ever used the data from the charge 2, so I don't know why UHC is on the charge 4. However, I went into the charge 4 settings and removed user data and made sure there were no devices on my fitbit account. I set up the charge 4 as a new device, but UHC is still on the charge 4. It's almost as if clearing user data doesn't happen. I'll try, if I have time, to create a new account and set the charge 4 with the new account and see what happens. I will reply with results

I cleared user data from my charge 4, created a new fitbit account, and set up the charge 4 with the new account. The charge 4 no longer has UHC. I suppose the next step is to clear user data from the charge 4 again and try to set it up with my original account. I'll reply again with results.

Well, that was useless for me. After clearing user data from the charge 4, I logged into my original account and set the charge 4 up as a new device. Found out that UHC came back on the charge 4. It must be tied to the fitbit account somehow and it'll install on any new device I add to my account. I wish I could get rid of UHC from my charge 4.

Thanks for getting back to us and for mentioning the steps you have followed in order to remove UHC of your Charge 4 @holymackerel and @holymackerel2.
Have you tried removing UHC of the apps linked to Fitbit on the Online Dashboard ? This might help you removing it.

But I didn't buy mine through UHC and I've revoked all permissions for UHC. How would a Fitbit bought outside of UHC be made specifically for UHC and contain apps that can't be removed? Also, how would it explain that with a new Fitbit account the UHC stuff disappears?
Rich_Laue's response is not an answer to this issue.

Then I would contact UHC and ask how remove their app.

I have. They told me that they don't have access to my Fitbit data nor do they have any influence on that Fitbit installs on the tracker. I was told to reach out to Fitbit.
