Charge 4 & Fitbit App-Outdoor Biking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Charge 4.  Biking it available via tracker, whoever, in the Fitbit app, only Walking, Run and Hiking are available. Is there a way to adjust the app to also select Outdoor Biking, so I can have the map, like I do when walking?

Thanks

When I do a walk. My Fitbit app, when I click into the details, for Heart Zone, it always states "Not enough heart rate data available".

Why does it not track my heart rate? My tracker displays the bpm.

Thanks,

Hello @Figment_693 and welcome to the Community.  I read both of your posts and am merging them together -- they are directly related to each other.  I hope I can help you get more from your Fitbit.  You are starting your exercises on the app using a feature called MobileRun.  MobileRun is an older feature for older devices that don’t have an exercise app like your Charge 4.  That’s why the choices are only walk, run, and hike.  That "not enough heart rate data" issue has been around for a few years and won’t be fixed.

You need to use the Exercise app on your Charge 4.  How do I track my workouts on my Fitbit device?  There is a section with instructions on how to customize your Exercise Shortcut list.  There are 21 Exercise shortcuts from which to choose.

@LZeeW ,

Thank you for your reply.  It's sad that I can only track a bike ride from the tracker and not the Fitbit app. With the walks, I can get splits and distance updates in real time to monitor pace and process. You would think that they would add that ability to the app for biking.

Again, thank you for your assistance.
