Charge 4 band keeps detaching

I have had trouble with my charge 4 band detaching on occasion. Recently it falls off dozens of times a day. I have tried two new bands and have the same problem. It seems to latch securely, but later the latch releases on its own. I am afraid one of these times, it will get lost or broken by the fall.

Hi, my Fitbit charge 4 broke where the band goes. Their is a piece that attaches the band and it broke off for no apparent reason. 
I ask Fitbit for free replacement but because I am out of warranty they say no but give me 35% discount on new one. Not sure what to do.

Hi

when my strap detaches it normally only need a good wash

I takt both sections of strap off and then using a nail brush and a drop of hand wash scrub both sides of the device and strap

A quick rinse dry and refit does the job

I am having the same problem with my Charge 4. Not sure what to do. It is out of warranty

Exactly what's just happened to mine but it's still in warranty.  I shall take it in today to see if they'll replace it and report back.  Luckily it fell off in the house.

I had the same problem with my Charge 4, i now take the strap off daily and clean it, seems to be better, i was not happy as i only purchased mine in Oct 2022  and about a couple of weeks later it started detaching but Fitbit were next to useless and wouldn't help, when i need to change i will not buy Fitbit brand again , mainly for their customer service skills or at least the lack of them 😫
