Hey, my Charge 4 is unresponsive. The screen is black, and it won't charge. I've already tried holding the side button for 8-10 seconds. This has happened before, but I don't recall how I fixed it. But it's like it's completely broken.

Hi there, @lisa_tso. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 4 is still blank. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

Fitbit service is awful, got the same problem and all they do is send some bot to tell you to do something that you have already done

I am also having the same problem.
I have disconnected the bluetooth, change clock faces, and every other solution that has been provided.
I purchased this Fitbit ant the same time as a iWatch for my daughter 2 years ago. The Fitbit has failed where the iWatch is going strong.
If this cannot be properly fixed I am going to purchase an other brand.

You keep giving the same wrong answers. These symptons suggest that the phone software needs an update. Otherwise the Fitbit will never turn on. Stop telling everyone to change the clock face.

My problem is that the LED doesn’t work. My steps are being tracked but the light/ screen is worn out. Can only see my steps when I sync to my phone and read the info there. I can’t figure out how to contact someone at FitBit - only see these user forums.

I have the same problem - black screen. I have tried all of the above - restarting, syncing, changing the clock face, but none of that has worked. The app shows my charge 4 is synced as of just now and that the battery is 82% and that the clock face has changed, but the screen is still black. Any other ideas, or is this the end of it?

Hi Lisa! I am having the same problem with my Fitbit Charge 3 it's a blank screen yet on the app it's still tracking! I tried holding the button in the charger for 15 seconds and then disconnecting and recharge holding it for 8 seconds 😊 happy face comes up but then still blank screen!
The last time this happened I was able to figure it out and just overcharged it and the screen came back and has been fine since then! This time I think it's fried like this kinda ng at new ones but not Fitbit! I really hope someone can figure out the problem it's happening too often since Google took over!
Hope you find a solution to your Fitbit charge 4 since it's a new one more news older but I really like it!
