Charge 4 dim screen !

All i can say is that the Charge 4 was and is the worst fitbit purchase i have made!! i am so frustrated that my watch is still working but is unusable as you cannot see the screen!! Because my watch is over 2 years old fitbit will do nothing about it knowing they sold thousands of throw away watches!!! Because i was trying to set a workout in the dark and couldn't see it now the dim switch must be on as I see absolutely nothing even in a dark room!! What a piece of garbage!! I have had 3 fitbits and this by far has been the worst!! If you can't see the screen it is worthless!! You should have recalled this model as you know the screen burns out!!

Crazygamer, is spot on, sadly it’s not just the charge 4 with the issue, the older charge 3 also suffers from it. Sadly it seems they care less and less with each update.

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is having the same problem.  I’ve gone back to my Charge 3 and knock

on wood, it is so far so good but I will be on the lookout😟.  After looking over comments from others on the different

devices, I can’t find one that I want to try my luck on and lose my money on. What happened to being able to buy a quality

product from a reparable company….Fitbit needs to do better!

I agree with @Crazygamer53. Charge 4 has few critical problem with so many users experiencing similar issues. I bought two Charge 4 and my wife's bands have broken as well. My Charge 4 is working fine but with a third party band. About 1.5 years old.

If you look at the band connector design, there will be one-sided pressure at the connection and a widening gap is likely to develop over time between tracker and bands on the top part. If you see this, it could indicate bands failure in the near future.

I was thinking of upgrading to Charge 5 but am holding back now. Before I buy another Fitbit product, I need to see the connector design.
