Charge 4 display became dull, not seen properly, kindly suggest

Sadly quite a few devices are reported as doing this.

 

 I f your in warranty call customer support you should (sadly depending on where you live) get a replacement, don’t wait if it’s in warranty act now!

I had the same issue and Fitbit support solved my problem.  I had accidentally turned the sleep mode on.  Hold side button down for 4 seconds.  Sleep

mode and do not disturb will pop up.  Make sure they are turned off.  Voila!!
