Timezone Issue

Hi all,

I recently went abroad and since coming back my Charge 4 is stuck in the wrong timezone! It's still showing the time from where I returned from.

I have done online research into this and tried the following:

- Set time on phone to a different value, then synced, then set back to correct time and synced again.

- Set Fitbit to not automatically follow timezone and manually set a couple of different timezones - synced.

- I've restarted the device.

Any other ideas on how to fix this please? 😞

Cheers

@tauntonj , Nice to see you around. Thank you for describing what you already tried to solve this.

To set the time correctly again, please do the following:
On your cell phone:

  • Please go to Settings > Date and time. (may be different, depending on the operating system of the mobile phone)
  • Switch Automatic Time to Manual.
  • Turn your phone off and on again.
  • Try to sync your watch again.
  • If the time is set correctly again, you can reset your mobile phone to any setting you like.
  • If the time is still displayed incorrectly after synchronization, please do the following:

    On your PC:
  • Please open Chrome or any internet browser (internet explorer, Firefox, etc)
  • Go to fitbit.com and sign in with your password and email address.
  • Tap Settings (gear top right)
  • Under Personal Settings>Time Zone, select any time zone.
  • Save the changes. (press submit)
  • Then please go to the Fitbit app on your phone.
  • Click on "Your profile picture>Advanced settings"
  • Turn off the "Automatic time zone" and "Automatic location" options. You should see the selected time zone. Then select Berlin and your location again.
  • Turn your phone off and on again.
  • Try to sync your Versa again.
  • The time should be displayed correctly on the clock again.

Hope this helps
