Charge 4 is acting odd

My Charge 4 suddenly stopped responding. The display was blank and when I press the haptic button it vibrates but nothing shows up. The green lights were still flashing so I figured the battery was low and I put it on the charger. After a while it should me the animated Fitbit logo and 10.0 but never fully started up. I tried the 8 second hold to restart. It vibrated continuously while I held the button, then I got the 🙂 and then nothing. The green lights are now out and the screen is completely blank. I tried the 15 second hold to restart and got the same continuous vibrating while holding the button, a brief vibration and 🙂 and then nothing.

II'll leave it on the charger overnight but is there any other way to restart it or is this continuous vibration while holding the button abnormal behavior?

This same thing happened to me today! It also happened to my dad's charge 4 about a week ago. Unfortunately, his never started working again. Hopefully someone will be able to give some answers.

There is no other way the continuous vibration is definitely abnormal, at least in my experience. I have had my charge 4 for about 2 years.

Seems par for the course. Every Fitbit I've had has died at about the 2-year mark ☹️

Happened to me today.  I charged the battery on my Charge 4 then it stopped registering steps/activity.  I tried resetting and nothing.   Any thoughts on what to try next?

I found in Help section a method that fixed my issue.  Go to Settings >About >reboot.  After the reboot, my charge 4 is now tracking steps.

Can you help me locate the settings- about section? I clicked on everything and can’t find it

On your tracker, scroll to the tab that has the weather and settings on it.  It should be the last one.
