Charge 4 is not syncing. Has said for several hours that it’s is trying to sync and it is not.  It is measuring my steps but the time on my watch is about 30 minutes behind.

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums @tuffmutt

I appreciate all the information that you've shared about the difficulty you're experiencing with your Charge 4.

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users:

  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn Bluetooth off and on.
  • Open the Fitbit app and sync again

In addition, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker: Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

If you're still having any issues, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.
