Hi everyone.

Thanks for sharing these details and the steps tried on your own. While I'm glad some of you're getting the skin temperature correctly, I'm sorry this isn't the case for others. Let me share that our team is aware of this situation and they're working to get this fixed soon.

I appreciate your patience and I'll keep them informed of the impact to you and other members. Once I have more details, I'll update this thread.

I just purchased the charge 4 this week. My skin temp variation has not shown at all & the SPo2 is very sporadic (sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't). From what i've seen, the temp needs 3 days to get a "baseline" if I understand correctly. There was 1 night that the watch didn't record any sleep data whatsoever. The main reason I bought this was to monitor sleep cycles & oxygen levels, mostly to see if using my CPAP is really beneficial or a waste of time. I see you've shared all the info of other commenters with your team, so, basically I just wanted to share & keep myself informed with this thread.
Have a wonderful day!

I think it does take a while to settle down and record all the “sleep” records. This is the first time I have had any trouble - I’ve had a Fitbit for years and have had my Charge 4 for quite a while. If your’s doesn’t start recording soon I suggest you post again
Good luck!

Hi everyone.

I'm glad to announce that this issue has been resolved and you should start getting your skin temperature data correctly. If you haven't done so, please make sure to sync your Charge 4 with the Fitbit app to update your details. I appreciate your feedback and patience, and we'll keep working to make Fitbit more useful for you.

If you have a different question, I'd encourage to start a new thread and share as many details as you can to receive help from the Community.

Coolness - this kind of forum really does work.

Musta been an app problem since the charge 4 retained most of the data until resolution?

Thanks Lizzy.

It started working and picked up a few missing days then didn’t get any again last night.  Is the problem back or just me?

Best Answer

Yes! Mine also started working and stopped again last night.

So as I mentioned, I was kind of aware it would take a few days..it did read Sunday night, as well as SPo2, but then last night it showed no data again..I do have the latest update installed. Just letting you know. Thanks

I guess I gave the accolades too soon, huh? Mine stopped last night too! Hopefully they at least know what the problem is though and can seek a more permanent solution.

Not sure where you heard that the Skin Temp had disappeared again. This certainly hasn’t happened. I only lost it for 3 days and a short time after I contacted you, it returned and all except 1 day was reinstated.

I’m not sure why, but I seem to be getting quite a lot of messages from other people who were affected in a similar way.
