Charge 4 not counting steps

Today, suddenly, my Charge 4 stopped counting my steps. It says I have zero steps, after I have been walking all over the place. It says I have zero flights of stairs, but my bedroom is upstairs and I have gone up and down many times today. What do I do? It isn't old enough to be dead/broken.

Do you see on the Fitbit app the steps and floors after you sync your Charge 4?

 Have you restarted your Charge 4?

I did see everything, just the numbers remained at zero. I just restarted it and it is working again. Thanks.

Restarting does not work for me any more.  This has been going on for about a month where steps are very inaccurate, rarely making my 10,000 step goal, even on days I work out 3 hours (which should be at least 15,000 to 18,000 step days for me normally, sometimes even 20k+).  Even just walking, the counter is stagnet often, inconsistent.   Any other advice since restarting is no longer working?  Thanks!

Then setup your Charge 4 as a new device on your Fitbit Account.
