I use Fitbit Charge 4 with Samsung A40. Everything works fine, but you can't set up alerts for calls and messages. Is it compatibility or some wrong setting?

Hi, I have a Galaxy S10e and have been able to set up OK. Check you do not have Do Not Disturb on or you have "sleep" settings that prevent alerts, the attached video provides more info -

Allowing this is not the problem at the home screen in the App touch your icon (top left corner), touch Charge 4, then notifications. After setting Text messages etc go to App notifications and check those Apps you want alerts from. return to the home screen and sync.
Hopefully that will do the trick.
Cheers

Welcome to the Community, @wlkwlk and @Gr4ndp4, thanks for the input.
If your Charge 4 isn't receiving notifications, I recommend taking a look at the help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi, I have checked all settings etc and they all appear fine and correct, my fit bit has also stopped recording my swimming stats which was working fine until 4 weeks ago. It still records steps ok.

Hi, @Jj54, you will see from the posting dates this is a rather old thread (August 2020) Have you tried the suggestions Alejandra & I made in our earlier posts?
Let us know how you get on by posting here again.
Cheers
