Charge 4 not showing heart rate during exercise

So if I am running, no problem, but when biking or rowing the Charge 4 stops showing real time heart rate.  I have tried to loosen, tighten, clean wrist and sensors, and even tried the other arm.  Help?!

@WDYB , Nice to see you here. Thank you for your message and for trying the different solutions. 

Have you tried during your biking tours, to wear the Charge 4 on the lower side of your wrist. Here it's easier to register the heart rate.
