I am receiving my text messages on Charge 4, but not vibrating to alert me, even though vibrating on notifications is selected. I have restarted my phone several times and reinstalled app. Any suggestions?

Thanks for troubleshooting this vibration issue. I recommend checking if the DND mode is on by doing the following:

@AlejandraFitbit and @Lukezmum we have also noticed that when the sleep mode is activated, the alarms do not vibrate.

I have the same problem. I am new at this. Could you please tell me are you talking about the fitbit screen on your computer of the fitbit itself? Also, what is DND? Sorry I am new this.

I followed your instructions. when I held the clock button it went to the DND and Sleep mode screen and would not let me swipe left. I tried and tried. I could not get to the quick settings screen. So that is as far as I could get.

I go to the DND on my fitbit, select OFF, and I cannot get it to save.

I have done this. I think my Fitbit Charge 4 is defective as it will not allow me to get rid of the DND. It is dark or or has a - negative sign with a circle. The Screen Awake is also dark and I cannot turn it on. I can turn the Sleep on and off but it is the only one of the three that I can do this with. I have my fitbit because I want to receive notifications and it has never worked. I put vibrations to Strong, and my messages do come through as they are properly paired, but I do not receive any vibrations when the messages come through.

I am having the same problem with mine. I have an iphone 8plus. Some things i find confusing that needs to be stated clearly. 1. When talking about settings: Make it clear if you mean settings on the phone itself, the fitbit app on the phone or the fitbit itself. 2. DND. What does the icon look like if DND is switched off. Does the diagonal line mean its on or off? Just about ready to take this back to the shop! And there’s no way i’m using the pay app on this thing!

I am having the same problem, I have only had my charge 4 for a couple of days and have tried all of the troubleshooting tips but it is still not working.
I have tried to contact Fitbit in various ways but have had no response.
could someone please help me…..I’m missing having a working Fitbit!

I had this same problem. Trouble shot that with Verizon Tech Coach. Tried unpair/pair, tried network reset. Chat went on three hours and ended with call the manufacturer. I even tried resetting DND and sleep - no change. Finally tonight I went into the app tapped my picture and chose set up device. Told it I'm adding a new charge four and went through the set up and it was like it was updated. I then did a test call from another phone and it worked.
