Charge 4 screen protector do I need one and will it work

I just got a fitbit charge 4 for Christmas,  am I using it wrong, as the screen does not always respond when I swiip up or down.  Also will the screen work if I use a screen protector?  Especially as this one is touch useable

Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the screen of your Versa 4 device.

You can use your Versa 4 without a screen protector, it works well without it. I don't recommend a screen protector since Fitbit doesn't have an official protector and this can impact the usage of your Versa 4.

Also, I recommend you to restart your Versa 4 and check if the situation with the screen responding continues.
