After not having used my fitbit due to a broken strap I have it charged again and am ready to use it. Except my screen wont work, i have tried the reset holding the side button for 8 seconds multiple times without luck.
I have also tried to change the clock face in the app multiple times without any luck.
Finally I have tried to set up the device
again after deleting it out of the app.
This proves to be a complete lost cause because to set up a new device you need to enter the 4 digits shown on the Fitbit, which is obviously bot going to work because the screen doesn’t work...
any suggestions?

When you restart it, do you see the smiley?
When tapping on the display does it turn on?
