Hello, I am trying to figure out if there's a way to set up my Charge 4 so that it alerts me when I enter (and leave) a specific heart rate zone. For instance, if I want to stay on zone 2, which for me is ~130-140BPM.
it's a pain in the butt to keep checking my watch and swiping, accidentally pausing my run tracking, etc just to see where my HR is at. If there is a way to make it buzz or something that would be amazing! Any suggestions?

Hello @hiksemebs
I think I found something that might work for you. Look here and scroll down to the active zone mins and look to the “how do I see heart rate notifications in my Fitbit device”: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1379.htm
😃 Would that provide you with the best answer to your question?

Hello @hiksemebs and welcome to the Community. You mention exercising in Zone 2 (in the 5 heart rate training zones). Zone 2 training might or might not match up with Fitbit's Fat Burn Zone in Active Zone Minutes. The 5 training zones use different methodology from Fitbit to calculate heart rate zones. Fitbit uses your resting heart rate as part of its calculation. Your Fitbit Fat burn zone should be very close to your Zone 2, but is unlikely to match exactly. You can see your Fitbit zones by tapping on your zone minute icon on your mobile app. How close they are to your 130-140 will depend on your resting heart rate. This will help you decide if the heart rate notifications will be help you. You can't customize them.
I looked at you profile and see that you are a new user. I haven't used a Charge 4 in a while, but I thought these heart rate zone notifications were On by default. I guess not. These heart zone notifications were new with the Charge 4. As a long time Fitbit user and a former distance runner, I thought they were annoying. These heart rate zones aren't carved in stone. I guess I am well trained at how my body feels. I go by the, "I can speak the words to a song, but I can't sing the song" rule while running. I never look at my Fitbit and watch the scenery around me.
