It's the recent firmware. You're basically SOL. People have been reporting this for over a month now and there's multiple threads on this. If it's under warranty just send it back in. If not the best you will get out of fitbit is a 35% off coupon from them for bricking your fitbit. But fitbit won't even acknowledge or rollback the firmware. Basically easiest way to force you to buy a new product. All other companies would just rollback the update and let people reinstall the old firmware.

Hi there @monmarmams. Welcome to Community Forums.

I understand how you feel about this. I'd recommend you check these articles, Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? and Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?.

Hope this helps.

I resisted updating the firmware and then my Fitbit started acting up, so I caved. Ridiculous that they won't rollback the firmware when they know it's a problem. They just lost my business.

I'm with you there, I was having absolutely no issues at all with my fit bit until I updated and straight after I've been losing charge in 2-3 hours, I was thinking of upgrading but definitely not with fit bit!
