Charge 4 vibrating while charging

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I got my Charge 4 for my birthday in December and every time I charge it it’s showing the charging screen but constantly vibrates during charging. I’ve tried resetting but doesn’t seem to work. Is it faulty? Do I need to return and get a new one?

Thanks,

Holly

Welcome to the Community, @HollyShel83.

Thanks for troubleshooting this vibration issue. Are you receiving notifications while your tracker is charging? Do you have the reminders to move feature on? Do you have set any type of alarm? Have you checked your settings?.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,

Ive been charging it when I’ve gone to bed after notifications of any kind aren’t in action, bedtime notification has already gone off and my 10 minute warnings are also off. Bizarrely I charged it this morning whilst having a shower and it only vibrated when initially connected to the charger. I’ve checked settings and nothing out of the ordinary.

thanks,

Holly

Thanks for getting back, @HollyShel83.

I am glad to hear that your tracker just vibrated when being plugged into the charger (normal). Please keep an eye on it and if you experience the vibration issue again, feel free to post it.

Happy stepping!

Do you know when I might hear? My Fitbit is now completely not working and just buzzes continually when I press the side button, absolutely nothing on the screen.

Mine has just started doing the same out of the blue today after working fine this morning.  And I had to take it off the charger because it got ridiculously hot.  Is this a safety issue??

Did anyone get this resolved?  My Fitbit Charge 4 will not turn on at all.  Continually vibrates the whole time on the charger, so frustrating

Same problem with my charge 4. It worked until it didn’t 😔

I contacted support who confirmed my device was "behaving abnormally" and it is being replaced.

This is happening to my fitbit too. It has been concretely dead and did not recharge.

I have been on and off with chat support but now it keeps giving me an error that "I'm on a different path" and I can't connect to fitbit chat.

Please send help!

Yep. Sadly, the best they offered me was a new Fitbit with a discount. I bought another Fitbit from Costco. They did not offer a “fix”,
