Charge 4 waterproof

So I got a charge 4 only to find out, that this device is not waterproof. I wore I. Shower and all was great. I washed my car by hand and the minute my charge

4 got wet in the water bucket it quit working, the only other thing I used was the spray of the sprinkling hose. Has not turned back on, I’ve had it for 13 months of course when warranty ran out. Best Buy told me they had so many people come in with same issue and they cannot do anything because Fitbit offers one year warranty and that’s it. I bought a smart watch from Apple and my warranty is good for 3 yrs or whenever I want to quit it. Win for me leaving Fitbit crap behind.

Of course they are waterproof. There is a swim option for exercise so there’s no doubt there is defect with your Fitbit.
