This is affecting me too and only happened randomly. I have had my charge 4 for over 2 years and occasionally I'll have to do a restart but nothing like this has ever happened. My charge 4 was working fine and moments later stop working, button was not vibrating, no power, no sync, and no screen. I performed a restart, the charge 4 vibrated, a smile appeared, and that is it. Still not charging, no power, no screen, no sync and the only thing it does is vibrate. Tried restarting it again but the side button just vibrates when I push down on it.

Hi, @Partol and @Jlandreth82 , for a Fitbit that does not charge the first troubleshooting step is always to clean the contacts.  Instructions are here along with some other useful tips on why your device might not be charging.

For a screen that doesn’t seem to be showing anything, please make sure that the setting has not changed to “dim” !  On my charge 4 dim is almost invisible and I have to go into a dark room to see anything!  If you can see anything, swipe left until you come to settings and tap the screen to toggle brightness to normal or auto.  I find normal is best.

As you have mentioned, it is also worth giving your Fitbit a restart as well to see if this solves the issue.  Sometimes you have to do this more than once as a single restart does not always work.  Restart instructions, if you need them, can be found here .

Having said all that, as I am sure you are aware, all rechargeable batteries do have a limited life span and as the Charge 4 is now an older device, it may be that the Charge 4 is nearing or has reached the end of its useable life.  If you are considering an upgrade it is worth getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.Fitbit.com .  I know in the past they have been able to offer a discount to loyal customers whose previous Fitbit is no longer fully functioning.  (I am not sure whether this is still offered, but might be worth checking out.)

Thank you @Julia_G for all your help and guidance. I tried everything you suggested and still nothing and the same outcome, no power to the Charge 4. I took your advice and reached out to Fitbit Customer Support, we tackled an array of options as well (most of them you mentioned) and still no success. The customer service agent is going to see since I am not under warranty if they can do anything and I mentioned since the watch is over 2+ years old, it's time to purchase a new fitbit tracker (Charge 5). They told me to wait until I get an email from customer support about the expired warranty.

Thanks for all your help!
