Charge 4 won't stop exercises

My exercise tracker on the Charge 4 won’t stop. It will pause, but not stop. It said to press the button again. When I press it on the face it continues to run. When I press it on the side it pauses and starts again. My Fitbit is less than a week old.

Hi, I have the same difficulty. I have a new Fitbit 4 and I can set start for an exercise but cannot get the finish option on the screen. It goes to paused and then prompts me to press the side button and when I do I get the screen  that says DND and sleep. If I press it again to try another option it’s back to pause.. this goes on for hours, until the battery runs out. I am really dissatisfied with this fitbit

The issue is that doing this is not working.

Finish didn't come up until I went through it multiple times.

My charge 2 was more user friendly. 

My previous charge 4 didn't do this.

Sadly that broke and new one is buggy.
