Having trouble with my Charge 4. When placed in charging cradle, it vibrates but not for notifications to move, HR zones, phone calls, etc.
Steps I have tried
What else can I do? I’m getting frustrated.

Hi, @ShawnnOC, welcome to the community, may I suggest you review a couple of the settings on your device and one on your phone app. On your device give the button a long tap, "Do not disturb" and "Sleep" should appear, both these settings should be off. DND disables notifications and sleep disables notifications, dims the screen, disables the wrist flick illumination and defaults illumination to the side button. This last arrangement is designed to stop the device disturbing restless sleepers at night. If you have "sleep mode" engaged ensure it is not in a sleep period. On your phone app touch your icon in the top left corner of the home screen, then touch notifications, swipe up a little and you will see "always vibrate". If the settings on your device are as I have described you should not need to do anything with this but if you still miss the vibrations try switching off and on and off.
If the above fails, try restarting your mobile phone and "rebooting" the device this video demonstrates the difference between reboot and restart.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

It's great to see you around, @NYSari.
Thanks for the information provided. Have you checked if the DND mode is off? When the do not disturb setting is on, notifications, goal celebrations, heart zone alerts, and reminders to move don't cause the tracker to vibrate or the screen to turn on. Press and hold the button, and swipe left to access the quick settings screen. Tap a setting to turn it on or off. When you turn off the setting, the icon appears dim with a line through it.
Keep the stepping up!

When I set my Do not disturb to OFF, it automatically dims the screen of Exercise Alerts But says it’s ON but I have tried it and it still is not vibrating to remind me to move.
I have tried everything in the BEST ANSWER aside from the always vibrate setting as I do not have that.
I am at a loss as to what to try next. Please help.

I am also having the problem with no vibrations. I have just gotten and set-up a new Charge 4. I have done all the troubleshooting in this thread. I get messages, calendar events, and that someone has called but I don't get a vibration when it happens. The only way I know about it is if I swipe down from the clock screen. I also do not get reminders to move. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

I’ve just received a replacement Charge 4 after the band connector broke and this has happened to me. It’s never vibrated from the start!
I’ve done all the steps including deleting user data, restarting, reconnecting, turning off DND/Sleep mode. I don’t (never!) even get a vibrate when it’s placed in the cradle for charging!
to me this seems like they’ve given me a refurb replacement that has a broken motor?
as I use the Fitbit for my alarm, call notifications etc it’s really essential this works for me.
can someone help?

I'ts the same for me, EVERYTHING you just said! I think I also got a refurb when my band connector broke. And vibrating isn't working. Did you fix it? How? I will contact fitbit again, but it took me so long to get reply for this replacement and I dont feel like waiting so long again 😞
