So bought a Fitbit charge for for my daughter (10yrs old) for Christmas  and it seems she can’t use this and set it up with her iPhone because of her age. So have I just wasted £100

Why can't you just return it and get back your money?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
