The exact same thing happened to my band.  It snapped off and my fitbit fell off my wrist.  I contacted the company and was basically told "tough luck".  I was so careful with this fitbit, followed all the directions, cleaned it, never got it wet and cherished it because it was a gift from my daughter.  I'm very disappointed in this product and the total lack of customer service.

Tmk1999 check on amaxon for GOSETH protector for charge 4.  The tracker fits in and you can wear it.  $12.  Not spending a dime on another fitbit.   Terrible customer service.  Fitbit should fix this problem for all of us
