Charge2 won’t sync to iPhone 6

Had Fitbit for about 2 years.  It’s now not updating dashboard even though it shows as connected.   Only way to resolve is to delete and reinstall in the Fitbit app.   Forgetting device in iPhone setting or turning Bluetooth on and off does not work.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Hi Alvaro

Thanks for prompt response. However I had already tried your suggestion and it didn’t work. The only way I can solve the problem is to remove the Fitbit completely and reinstall it. I’d like to know why it happens so I can stop it. At the moment it’s behaving itself!
