This resetting thing doesn't work, I have tried to edit my so called 37 floors on Tuesday but following those steps and nothing changed. I used to love my Fitbit but now I'm getting frustrated with it.
Best AnswerI am new to fitbit.I dont understand counting floors. When I do stairs there is no count change. when I am working at a countor helping customers it regersters 9. I thought it had something to do with heart rate but I ride my bike get my heart rate up and no floors.
My CHARGE HR is counting floors when I've been driving. Sometimes floor count seems to be valid, but most of the time, I am ignoring the floor count b/c I cannot be sure it is accurate.
I wish there was a way to delete floor counts.
Best AnswerI've been wearing a Fitbit Charge HR faithfully since January. It does not properly record my steps or stairs. I live in a two-story house and have been up and down the stairs three times already this morning, but my stairs count still reads zero. I recently joined a gym and have been walking thirty minutes or more several times a week, but my step count still reads less than 5000 when I finish. If I'm lucky, it shows ten minutes of activity after those sessions. The only positive thing I can say about my Charge HR is that when I wake up at night, I can tell what time it is without looking at a clock. My husband was also wearing a Charge HR until recently, experienced many of the same problems, and took his off. I am about to join him as a former Charge HR user. Neither of us have been happy with this purchase at all, and are not inclined to upgrade in the future. I'd just as soon put my Apple phone in my pocket and let its Health app tell me my steps and exercise, as it does a much better job.
Best AnswerIf the watch can count floors discretely, it should be possible to delete them as well. When will they realize that this issue requires a better fix than has been provided so far? We're still having the same problem, after years of patience and waiting for it to be fixed.
Reset doesn't work for me. Requested a replacement under warranty, Fitbit refuse
