The screen has cracked in 2 places all the way down the centre and on the left hand side on my fitbit 2. It still works fine but I would like to get the screen replaced. Any ideas please

If you are out of warranty, I know sites like Ebay sell spare parts. the screen and quite easily be popped off, and the new one and be easily clicked into place. At least this is true for the Fitbit Alta, but definitely go do some digging 🙂 Also, invest in a protective fitbit shell, this will prevent cracks from happening in the future.

Both my husband’s and my fit bit cracked in identical location, straight down the middle of the screen. Fitbit should do right by it’s customers and admit the design flaw and replace these watches. This isn’t right.ours both cracked within a year of purchase. We didn’t contact Fitbit because we assumed we must have done something wrong and they cracked. Now we see thousands of people have the same crack down the front and Fitbit will do nothing to replace them? Shame on them.

Thanks. But, with Fitbit charge 2 the crack happens spontaneously so a cover would not help.

Hi Ricardo,

I've had two cracks all the way down my charge 2 for nearly three years. I wish I would have known that I could've returned it because they only appeared after the first two weeks. The charge 2 is clearly the least resistant to cracks, so I do not recommend it for anyone who is prone to bumping things with their arms (Like me😄). I'm pretty sure it's too late to send my charge 2 back, but is the charge 4 proven to be highly resistant?

Fitbit needs to put more pride in their work.

I've had my Charge 2 for a few years now, but have noticed a crack in my screen, too. It currently works fine, but I, too, am afraid of any moisture seeping into the crack. I don't know how or when the crack occurred. I'm disappointed that this cannot be repaired.

Hi there!

I was able to find a replacement screen for my Fitbit Alta on eBay, they
click out quite easily and are way cheaper than replacing the watch
entirely which is what Fitbit tech support first recommended to me. Highly
encourage you to look around for a replacement screen for your version of
Fitbit, I’m sure you could find some! And perhaps invest in a screen
protector as well to prevent future cracks, there are cheap options on
Amazon and eBay.
Hope this helps!
