Noticed yesterday that my screen had cracked in a couple of places, no idea how or why. Can this be replaced?

I've had two of the them crack for no reason. Seems like they all crack. I'm curious if that's an issue with the Charge 3. I'd like to get one, but not if they have the same issue. Has Fitbit ever spoken up about the screen crack issue?

Hi Crissy and B_Vee:

The screen cracked on my original Charge 2 about 8 months after purchase  Customer service replaced after I sent picture documenting crack.  The screen on the replacement Charge 2 is showing  signs of a cracked screen - again after about 8 months of wear.  Never dropped watch or subjected to wear that should cause cracks.

I suspect  the screen crack problem with Charge 2 watches is fairly common.  Hopefully we can get Customer Service to replace with the Charge 3 watch,  I encourage others with cracked screen problems with Charge 2 to reply to the above messages

I found out later yesterday that you need to contact Fitbit customer service.  Get a case number and then send them a picture to document the crack.  I'm waiting for feedback after I sent a picture.

My Charge 2 screen cracked in two straight lines about 8 months ago and I contacted Fitbit who replaced it. I have since spoken to several people who have them in my gym sessions and the same has happened to at least 50% of them with them either taking it up with fitbit or them just buying a new one. My new fitbit has now done exactly the same but as one of my friends has bought a newer square version and her face has done exactly the same i am not sure that fitbit have resolved the issue or just keep sending out replacements to keep people quiet. I have reported it so I will see what happens

Thank you for your message.  I'm on my second Charge 2 .  Both got vertical cracks on the screen.  Both problems happened after 6-8 months of wear.  Fitbit replaced the first under the 12 month warranty.  They sent me an email on the second (beyond the warranty) offering a 25 percent discount on a new watch. I'm NOT going to buy the Charge 3 current replacement watch.
Fitbit has big product quality problem and they are not taking care of current customers.  We need to bring the cracked screen issue to social media.

My screen also sprouted a vertical crack down the middle of the display, goes from the top of the display to almost the top of the button on the side. I know I haven't done anything to the watch to cause this

I agree and have decided to go with Apple Watch. Also I gave the fitzbit to
a friend to use it as a second watch. However I would like to fix the
screen for a friend does anyone know if the screen can be ordered from the
company and have a watch repair store fix it?
