Current time-zone not syncing on my Charge 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've recently moved country and my fitbit will not show the correct time. Oddly it's not correct for my previous country either. I have rebooted, repaired, synced the device a number of times as well as manually changing the time zone but I cannot get the device's time to change. Can anyone help?

Hi @Trixypie, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the time zone and clock issue that your Charge 3 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like to know if you have restarted your Charge 3 as described in this help article. Also, let me know if your phone has the current time-zone.

In the meantime, make sure that your phone runs the most recent Fitbit app version.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I found that post before I asked my question - I had no success. At some point in the night my fitbit corrected itself, however it has now reverted to the wrong time again. Do you have any other advice for what could be wrong?

Hi @Trixypie, thank you for trying the steps previously shared. I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

After this, set up your tracker from scratch on your existing account and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
